Looking to further your climbing skills, or maybe
take the “leap” to outdoor climbing? This class is for you! Learn the
principles of lead climbing and belaying from UREC Outdoors Staff. Expand your
skills or learn what you need to get outside! Lead climbing is an essential
skill for setting outdoor sport climbs or engaging in lead climbing at your
favorite indoor facility. Learn principles of belaying for lead, clipping, and
what to avoid in lead climbing in this class! *1-2 months of climbing
experience recommended, Top Rope Belay Certification required*
