Build your skills in climbing and cut your
reliance on climbing tower staff for belays! Take this class and start the
process of becoming Top Rope Belay certified at the UREC Climbing Tower. Tired
of waiting on staff to belay or want to start a “belaytionship” with your
favorite climbing partner? This class is for you! Learn to tie your figure-8
follow through knot, how to belay using an ATC and GriGri, and become
self-reliant at the climbing tower! Taking this class allows you to start the
process of becoming certified to belay at the UREC Climbing Tower during tower
hours
